Walkabout Blackpool

Walkabout Blackpool

By far one of Blackpool’s most popular venues is Walkabout. Based on Queen street at the opposite end to Blackpool North Train station – Walkabout is a favourite with both tourists and locals alike.

Set over 2 floors the venue can operate with 2 different styles of music or can cater for 2 sporting fixtures at the same time. The second floor is open subject to demand but is regularly open for saturday nights and features a balcony where customers can smoke whilst still on the premises.

During the daytime walkabout is open from noon and has live sports on TV featuring all your major football and rugby etc. It’s great place to celebrate after the darts too. In fact Walkabout is often chosen by many attending events and conferences at the Blackpool winter gardens and is known for it’s lively party atmosphere 7 nights a week.

Food is served from an aussie themed menu featuring burgers and parmies, wings and sharing food. Perfect snacks and filling meals too. Food service ends at 10pm but the bar is open til 4am

At weekends you can pose for a photo with one of the photo-team and buy a keyring as a keepsake and the venue will also publish the best photos on their facebook page the following week so you don’t have to worry about missing the action if your cameraphone dies. This venue does not offer charger cables but there are usb sockets for charging throughout the venue.

(The shop over the road is open late and sells charger cables. )

You can ensure that a booth is available for you when you arrive by booking ahead for your party. This can be done by contacting the Walkabout Blackpool Facebook page directly or via their website (links below keep reading)

Walkabout Blackpool is also perfect for private hire for parties or corporate events. The second floor has it’s own entrance and can be completely separated from the general public if required. It can comfortably hold around 400 people standing with some seating available.
